Say a prayer...

What time is it? GAME TIME! It's been awhile since our last update...and for good reason. Between 18 credit hours, a new internship and most importantly signing up for the "STIHL Colorado Freeride Championships" this blog has taken a bit of a back seat.

We've been skiing a lot lately. So much so that loved ones start to consider seeking out a "skiing addiction program" to help set our lives back to "normal". I'll tell you this much, American Express loves me. I might even be customer of the year.

The comp is starts this Friday in Snowmass. If you aren't familiar with this style of event, it's modeled after the infamous Crested Butte Extremes where competitors are give a mountainside and must ski the most difficult line they can. The winning lines usually have many airs in them, and are over 50 degrees in steepness.

To be honest, I'm sitting here feeling a little over my head and a lot scared. Oh well, there is something really really cool about getting scared....

Hi Jeff & Pat,

My name is Michael and I’m from Rocket XL, a marketing agency based in Los Angeles. I been scouring the web to spread the word on Vail Resorts and its new Colorado Pass Club benefits. Because your site is a leading independent voice in the Colorado Snow community, it is my pleasure to offer you an opportunity to experience Vail Resorts, and share your experience with your readers.

Would you be interested in receiving 2 Lift tickets and an immediate honorary membership to Vail’s Colorado Pass Club to review for your site? You’ll have the opportunity to experience Vail’s recently expanded benefits of its CPC membership, including: exclusive deals, events, freebies and much more! Follow this link for details on the benefits of the CPC membership: http://www.rocketxl.com/vail_spr07/assets.htm.

All we’re looking for is your honest, journalistic opinion and feedback on Vail and the CPC membership, and we hope that your site audience would also enjoy such a review.

Please email me if you’re interested. I will follow up soon on this opportunity.

Thanks,

Michael Phan
